There are also ipod nanos which are 200 dollars if you want them to hold 2000 songs (8gb) or 150 dollars if you want them to hold 1000 songs (4gb) The ipod touch is expensive compared to the others considering that it doesnt have much memory and hold many songs, but it does a lot more. if you are just looking for something to play music on go with one of the other ipods but if you really like the idea of internet on an ipod, the touch screen, and being able to buy music right on your ipod- go with the ipod touch...it looks really cool =] i hope i helped Caffeinated Content
