    1. iphone is like an itouch except itouch cant call and a ipod cant get on the internet and its not a touch

    2. Basically you’re correct. iTouch is like an iPhone, with no cell service.

iPods (not the touches) don’t have a lot of the things iTouches do, but so far they hold the most music, so I’m content with my 80 gig. Besides, I’m getting the T-Mobile G1. Google phone ftw!

    3. yes that is the only difference between an iPod touch and an iPhone. It is SO cool!!!

    4. Yes, iPhone and iTouch are the same except iTouch has no phone.
iPod is basically in a entirely different category from iPhone and iTouch because its just a basic music mp3.

    5. Yeah, well basically the iTouch and the iPhone are the same thing except the iTouch isn’t a phone. They both browse the web and all, but the iTouch is an iPod and the iPhone is a phone. And the iPod is just an iPod.

    6. An ipod (the one that has a physical control wheel) is mostly for playing music, but can also play videos, and view pictures. The iPod classics have a tiny hard drive in them similar to what’s inside most computers. The nanos have the same capabilities but they use flash memory similar to what a digital camera uses. The hard drive based models at the moment have the highest capacity of 120GB.

The iPod touch is basically a iPod nano that has a touch screen. but also has the ability to go online using a hotspot such as at the library, or a coffee shop. Its interface is by touching different areas of the screen, and making motions that simulate scrolling up and down, or turning a page.

The iPhone is a iPod touch that can make and receive phone calls.

All models can play their own specific games, but the touch models may have an advantage to the games playable due to the most versatile controls that can be assigned to it.

    7. The iPhone is an internet-connected multimedia smartphone designed and marketed by Apple Inc. with a flush multi-touch screen and a minimal hardware interface. Lacking a physical keyboard, a virtual keyboard is rendered on the touch screen. The iPhone’s functions include those of a camera phone and portable media player (equivalent to the iPod) in addition to text messaging and visual voicemail. It also offers Internet services including e-mail, web browsing, and local Wi-Fi connectivity. The first generation phone hardware was quad-band GSM with EDGE; the second generation also adds UMTS with HSDPA.
On July 11, 2008, the iPhone 3G was released and supported faster 3G data speeds and Assisted GPS.

The iPod Touch(iPod touch is sometimes colloquially referred to as the iTouch) has the iPhone’s multi-touch interface, with a physical home button off the touch screen. The home screen has a list of buttons for the available applications. All iPod Touch models have included the applications Music, Videos, and Photos (collectively duplicating the standard functions of the iPod classic), iTunes (providing access to the Wi-Fi Music Store), Safari, YouTube, Calendar, Contacts, Clock, Calculator, and Settings. Later models added Mail (accessing POP/IMAP/SMTP e-mail), Maps, Stocks, Notes, and Weather, which could also be added to the earlier models with the purchase of a software upgrade.

iPod is a popular brand of portable media players designed and marketed by Apple Inc. The product line-up includes the hard drive-based iPod Classic, the touchscreen iPod Touch, the video-capable iPod Nano, the screenless iPod Shuffle and the iPhone. Former products include the compact iPod Mini and the spin-off iPod Photo. iPod Classic models store media on an internal hard drive, while all other models use flash memory to enable their smaller size (the discontinued Mini used a Microdrive miniature hard drive). As with many other digital music players, iPods, excluding the iPod Touch, can also serve as external data storage devices. Storage capacity varies by model.

    8. iphone is a phone, ipod is an mp3 player like you described, and itouch is a keyboard with media controls, but logitech makes it. but itouch is just a keyboard so it cant do everything an iphone can, not even close.
